Design That Surprises: The Gemini and Butterfly Mirrors at OCHE King West
At OCHE King West, the experience is in the details. Designer Krista Toman brought this to life in the washrooms, creating spaces that guests talk about long after their visit. Working closely with Krista, we helped turn her vision into reality with two custom mirrors, each one made to capture a unique mood.
In the men’s washroom, Krista’s Gemini mirror immediately grabs your attention. Twin circles outlined with crisp LED lighting and bold, graphic lines give the room energy and movement. The retro-inspired wallpaper reflects in the glass, making the whole space feel vibrant and modern. Every detail, from the shape of the mirror to the quality of the light, was chosen to make even a quick stop feel memorable.
The women’s washroom features the Butterfly mirror, inspired by organic shapes and the gentle curve of butterfly wings. Soft backlighting and smooth lines create a light, uplifting atmosphere. The mirror seems to float against the patterned wall, bringing a sense of play and elegance. Krista’s attention to detail shines through, turning the washroom into a place that feels fresh and welcoming.
Both mirrors are more than just practical—they are part of the OCHE experience. Together with Krista, we created moments of surprise and delight, where design leaves a lasting impression.
