Benoit Gérard has spent more than two decades working at the intersection of furniture, material, and space. His practice is defined by restraint — a discipline that makes each object carry more weight.
I don't start with a concept. I start with a material question. Here, the question was: what is behind the mirror, and does it have to be nothing?
The Gemini Collection is Gérard's first collaboration with Claris Company, developed over eighteen months. The collection takes nine existing Claris forms and reinterprets them through a two-layer glass construction.
Cosentino Eclos.
Stone base, exclusively on the ALICE.
The ALICE in the Gemini Collection introduces a stone base made from Eclos — a sintered stone surface by Cosentino. Denser than marble, more considered than ceramic. Available in two colorways that pair precisely with the Bronze and Graphite back glass.
